The most economical, precise, and easiest way to handle your talent payments.

What We Do
Trice Talent Services offers the most convenient, efficient, and accurate way for producers and production companies, ad agencies and in-house media divisions, to pay the talent they use. Whether signed to the union contracts or not, these organizations can avail themselves of union talent while avoiding the vast and arcane amount of paperwork and timely filings required by the performers unions, state and federal agencies and the IRS.
The Free Lunch
When you use Trice, your invoice for the talent becomes a line item expense, not a costly employee liability. As such, you can pass our bill through to your client as a production cost, and our service costs you nothing. In fact, it saves you time and money. For clients who are end users, Trice saves many hours of accounting costs and time to familiarize someone in your office with arcane union minutiae.
We are the Employer
Trice becomes the employer of record for the talent you use. We save you hours of book keeping trying to keep up with the still unsettled and certainly unclear IRS regulations regarding employees as opposed to contract labor. If you had to pay the talent yourself, they would become an employee of your company - even though you might only use them for a single day in one year! Not only would this demand you to adhere to strict payroll deadlines potentially subject you to constant pressure and communication with the various unions, but it would require you to withhold FICA, Medicare and state and federal taxes. It would subject you to new workers compensation experience ratings (performers are a high risk group), and make you responsible for unemployment claims, filings, and the host of material they require employers to file each year. All this in an area that covers three jurisdictions for unemployment and state withholding . Needless to say, you would have to carry the talent on your books for th entire year, and have you send a W-2 at tax time. Whew. Let us do it.
